Best Real Estate Agent in Tooele, Utah

I'm Blair Allen of Utah Digs, and I'd put my record up against anyone's: 25+ years selling homes along the Wasatch Front, $265M+ in real estate sold, 550+ properties closed, a 5.0-star client rating, and listings that sell for +3.3% above expected. The honest truth is that "best" depends on fit — experience, local knowledge, and how an agent communicates. I've sold homes here in Tooele, so my local knowledge isn't theoretical — it's firsthand. If you want a Tooele agent with a long, verifiable track record, call or text me at (801) 337-5057.

Tooele is the county seat and largest city in Tooele County, in its own valley west of the Oquirrh Mountains, roughly 35 miles southwest of downtown Salt Lake City. That separation defines the market: Tooele offers noticeably more house and land for the money than Salt Lake County, in exchange for a commute up SR-36 to I-80 that much of the city makes every day. The established core around Main Street has the city's older homes, newer subdivisions keep growing on the north and south ends of town, and acreage properties spread into the valley beyond the city streets. The Tooele Army Depot and other valley employers anchor local jobs alongside the Salt Lake commute. Schools are Tooele County School District. Prices and pace vary a lot by property type, though — an in-town home, a newer subdivision home, and a small-acreage property behave like different markets — so a Tooele-specific look at current listings and recent sales matters far more than valley-wide headlines. You can see what's on the market now on my Tooele homes page.

Start with pricing: price to the most recent Tooele comparable sales — not last year's headlines — and buyers compete instead of bargain-hunting. My listings sell for +3.3% above expected because I pair that pricing discipline with honest prep advice (only the repairs and staging that actually pay for themselves) and full marketing exposure for every home. The first step is a real valuation, not an automated guess — get a free home valuation, and I'll review it personally. My full selling approach is on my Sell page.

Shop by which Tooele you're actually buying: in-town neighborhoods mean established homes near Main Street and the valley's services; the newer subdivisions on the edges mean modern builds, where the comparison is often builder product versus young resale; and acreage properties mean land, water, and outbuildings enter the math alongside the house — some outlying properties run on wells or septic systems rather than city utilities. Factor in the commute honestly, too: SR-36 is the main route into the Salt Lake Valley, so drive it at rush hour and, if you can, in winter weather before you commit — for many Tooele buyers, that drive is exactly the trade that buys them more home. Get fully pre-approved before you tour, because well-priced homes here don't sit and wait. And work with an agent who can tell you what a given street's resale pattern actually looks like, not just what the listing says. Browse current Tooele listings, and read why buyers work with me.

Commissions are negotiable — there is no fixed standard rate, and anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong. Traditionally the seller pays a commission at closing, taken out of the sale proceeds rather than paid upfront, and it's split between the listing brokerage and the buyer's brokerage; buyers also sign a written agreement covering their own agent's compensation. What matters is that the full cost is in writing before anyone starts work. I'm happy to walk through exactly what you'd pay and what it covers — no obligation, no pressure.

Because I've actually closed deals here — I've sold homes in Tooele, so Tooele pricing isn't theory to me. I know how an in-town home prices differently from a newer subdivision home or a small-acreage property out in the valley, and why a city-wide average will mislead you in each one. Any agent can pull the same MLS data I can. What they can't pull is 25+ years of experience — $265M+ sold, 550+ properties closed, and listings that sell for +3.3% above expected — combined with deals done in the middle of this market.

Yes — complex sales are a core part of my practice, not a sideline. If you're an executor selling a home in probate, a trustee liquidating a trust property, or a couple selling during a divorce, I handle the valuation, preparation, and sale with the discretion those situations need, coordinating with your attorney where one is involved. You can read more on my probate, divorce, and trust & estate pages — or just call me at (801) 337-5057 and tell me what you're dealing with.
